Video 1 is an easygoing preamble from Sarah to summarise her whole approach to spinal decompression; of anti-haste, less is more; feeling the discomfort but doing it anyway; not fighting your body: feeling the internal pulling of the spine as it lengthens; one move blending into the next; advancing and retreating day by day as your body reacts or goes with the flow.
Around and about this, now is prolly a good time to read again the Substack post ‘Spinal Decompression is the Key To Therapy’
Video 2 shows one pass through the lumbar decompression regime (also called by Sarah her ‘Pressure Change Therapy’).
It shows the 3 steps, with 60 seconds on the Block followed by the knees rocking, then15 reverse curl ups.
What this clip doesn’t show is a typical session at the end of a day, where normally you would repeat the three steps another two times. The whole thing takes 10-15 minutes.
Once you’ve seen the video above you might find it more helpful simply listening to Sarah’s voice as she takes you through a typical evening session.
Just stop the clock, get to the floor . . . no hurry . . . and zone out . . .
If you’re doing it right it should be like a physical form of meditation.
