Sarah Key's Problem Back Masterclasses For Graduate Physios in 2025
Levels 1 & 2 from 11th to 13th May 2025 at Dumfries House in Ayrshire SCOTLAND.
In the attached videos you will see a glimpse of me describing the functional anatomy and treatment of the thoracic spine, through mobilisation techniques using the hands.
Strictly speaking, the thoracic spine and neck are covered in Level 3 Masterclasses (Levels 1 & 2 lumbar spine) so this is an early call-out to physios who’ve completed SKMCs Levels 1 and 2 to come back and complete Level 3 (yes, even you folk in Australia and the USA). With a long lead-time of six months, you might even be able to peg your 2025 holidays around these dates in Scotland!
I have been asked by His Majesty the King (no swank here) to dust off the Masterclasses and train a new generation of Sarah Key practitioners in the understanding and treatment of spinal pain. I have not run any Masterclasses since 2019, what with Covid and other considerations - not least my yearning for a quieter life (but just quietly, who can disobey a Royal Command?)
The King has made available his recently restored architectural gem in Ayrshire called Dumfries House which has a focus on health and wellbeing, as well as being historically significant (and with heavenly gardens and surrounds). There are about 20 guest rooms in Dumfries Lodge but there may be other cheaper accommodation around and about.
The team and I are are in the process of going live with an advertising campaign (and not least finalising the cost - don’t worry it won’t be exhorbitant). But it is possible to reserve a place now on the Levels 1 & 2 and 3 courses by contacting Kay Bradley-Higgins at kbhphysio@gmail.com. First come first serve.
Although we have not set actual dates for Level 3, I will be happy to run one following Levels 1 and 2 if the demand is there (and before you ask, yes it would be possible to do Levels 1 and 2 immediately followed by Level 3).
See here for a guide to the Course Content of Levels 1 & 2 and Level 3.
And perhaps remind yourself here Why You Need To Do The SK Masterclasses
Remember, the Theory components of the Masterclasses Levels 1-3 are completed online through the Moodle platform where you sign up, pay, watch the webinars and do the exams. When when this is completed you will join me in Scotland in May ‘25 for the 2-day intensive Practical components.
There’s sure to be someone you know who will be interested in this.
SO PLEASE SHARE THIS POST!
Hi Peta,
The courses are being broken up into Levels 1, 2 and 3 to bring down the cost a bit although it will be possible to do Level 2 a day or so after Level 1 is completed if you should so wish. The practical period for both courses remains at two days for each. Standby for the update. .
Dear Sarah, how much does the course cost ? Thankyou, Peta
