Try allowing spinal elements to readjust by short duration suspension. This can be achieved by the Teeter Hangups or similar machine(there are cheaper, safe versions); or by upper thoracic harness, sold by Amazon. The latter is safer than upside down suspension in the case of some additional conditions like glaucoma. While suspended, one can move the dependent part of the body through a range of movements to allow spinal elements to resettle.
This method has worked for 10 years for me. There are I am sure unforeseen risks for some. But everyone with a bad back takes risks for peace from pain, and the risk is your own to take.
I am usually in Cornwell every year at St Mawes at Hotel Tresanton Barbara. I'm not sure about this year however because I have been asked by the King to resume the masterclasses in Scotland - so everything is getting a little bit crowded. I will be in London however in the month of May next year so perhaps I could see you then.

How can I find a physio who practices your method? I live in Cornwall, England. Thank you for all your wonderful advice.
